Oman has a very long coastline, stretching from Musandam in the north to Dhalkut in the south. Along this whole stretch, there are numerous beautiful beaches, creeks, places for camping just in nature, snorkeling, diving.
Bar al Hikman
Bar al Hikman is a wonderful area in Oman, with white sandy beaches. They are unique in the world.
It is situated in the Al Wusta governate. Al Wusta is famous for its fishing, magnificent Empty Quarter sands and Bedouin culture that thrives there. Hayma, located on the Muscat-Salalah highway that links the north of' Oman with the south, is the centre of the Governorate. It is a desert area peopled by migrating Bedouins.
Bandar Al Khairan
Bandar al Khairan is 30-minute drive out of Muscat. There are wonderful spots, creeks to go snorkeling and diving. Ask some fishermen to bring you to the spots.
