Oman Aquarium is Oman’s first recreational, educational, tourism and heritage project. The aquarium houses more than 30,000 aquatic animals living in over 55 exhibits. The aquarium is built over 2 floors and follows the journey of a famous Omani Seafarer ”Ahmed Bin Majid” who lived approximately 500 years ago and traveled from Oman to India, South Africa and as far away as Indonesia
